blabla summary of fashion in China

After Chinese holidays, as usual, i start to prepare for a new year coming with challenges and adventures.

It’s never been easy as a entrepreneur, especially for a young.
Newborn calves are not afraid of tigers.
I am always saying i have nothing but only the courage.

Fashion week and Sales season are vital and tired,
Shops reform and Malls re position keep going,
Brands’ quick booming and fading is normal,
Industry changes so suddenly and unexpectedly,
2017 is still a worthy fighting moment for all the fashion players.

The last 2 years has not been positive for most of brands and retailers. Luxury drops, fast fashion giants have shown their concerns also, with the most direct phenomena of closure of shops, one by one. For new brands trying to share a little cake it’s harder than ever.

Chinese is a vital market today for all multi-national with its significant population and expanding mental and physical desires of better quality life.
So all players trying their own magic to be outstanding, with more or less investment, with better or worse results.
From consultancy company to promote “Re-defining retail conception” idea, to retailers to offer extra related or not related services, to agency/showrooms/designers doing non-stop cross-over projects, etc. New brands, foreign and local ones, fast fashion, designer labels, luxury maisons, etc, open their arms to the market.
We believe opportunity coming always with danger, and yes, new brands have seen some successful cases but not all, and not long lasting.

Consumers are guiding or be guided, it depends on the power of the market suppliers. But yes of course, winners are always changing, like fashion is never related to silence.
A lot new brands coming with big ambition, but there are divers difficulties unexpected, so they either struggle to stay with a lot more investment or exit. Some succeed in first few years but still can not escaped the average 5 year lifetime “curse”. Chinese are always seeking new and à la mode things, except luxury brands with solid image of fortune and status.  So for new enters, you should really figure out if u have fully prepared in money and team to join in the Chinese cake sharing battles.

Fashion entrepreneur have no time to breath!! I take this little moment to share the blabla summary with u, which help me also to clarify again me thoughts.
